The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein

A story about a tree that keeps on giving.  Recommend that you read it first make sure that you have tissues near by.  I can't read this story to my granddaughter without crying.  It has a very good moral and would be one of my most highly recommended books.   

Utterly Me, Clarice Bean by Lauren Child

Clarice Bean's teacher wants the class to do a book project.  It's very entertaining and lots of fun to read.

 This Little Puffin Complied by Elizabeth Matterson

Books contains songs, rhymes and games for every occasion.  Popular with young children.

The Other Ark  by Lynley Dodd

Noah’s ark is jam-packed but there’s still queues waiting to board.  Wonderful drawings.

Schnitzel von Krumm’s  Basketwork by Lynley Dodd

Schnitzel von Krumm is angry when his family decide to replace his smelly old basket.  Enjoy the drawings.
 
Hairy Maclary and Zachary Quack by Lynley Dodd

Zachary Quack is a small very determined duckling who wants to play with Hairy Maclary.

Highly recommend any of Lynley Dodds books.

Story line reminds us that whatever we want to do we can do it even if sometimes we fail.

Story tells us that we are lucky to be who we are.
